Context
This visual identity project was created for the city of Delft in Holland, aiming to capture both its rich historical heritage and its forward-thinking innovation. The challenge was to merge these two aspects into a cohesive representation of the city.
Design
The logo combines traditional typography with modern elements, blending historical and contemporary silhouettes of Delft. We incorporated local products and crafted a typeface using both sans serif and refined serif fonts, symbolizing the city’s balance between past and present. Hand-drawn illustrations highlight Delft’s ongoing development, creating an authentic and heartfelt celebration of the city.
